Description
This handmade hanging sculpture by Sofie Redfern is a study in balance and fragility.
Crafted from a slice of spalted silver birch, the piece suspends dyed skeleton leaves on fine bronze jewellery chains, creating a gentle movement and interplay of colour and light.
The organic textures of birch and the translucent leaf forms evoke the stillness of the forest — a meditation on impermanence and renewal. Hung near a window or in soft light, it becomes a living composition that shifts subtly with each breeze.
Please note: The metal hook shown in photographs is not included.
